 Canal Life - Boater's Delight

Palm Harbor has a long history as the first neighborhood in Palm Coast, and it remains a favorite of boaters, shoppers and families. Palm Harbor Subdivision is also called “Sailboat Country”. Almost 30 miles of saltwater canals offered in Palm Harbor. The name Sailboat Country was born when the area was developed because most of the canals can accommodate mid-to-large sailboats, and there are no bridges to navigate between the canals and the Intracoastal Waterway. The Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) is the water “highway” used by thousands and thousands of boaters. In addition to boaters enjoy cruising and fishing in the ICW, boats travel through Flagler County on their way south to lower Florida and, in some cases, to off-shore island destinations or while heading north to return to northern ports.

As your Palm Coast real estate agent my goal is to help you find the perfect Palm Coast home for your family, or if you’re selling, my goal is to sell your home quickly for top dollar at the least amount of inconvenience to you.

About the Homes

Many of the homes offer a tile roof, dock, boat lift, two or more living rooms, formal dining room, usually three or more bedrooms and two or more bathrooms, pools with screened lanai. Homes along the canals and waterways have been actively growing for several decades, and are always in high demand. Therefore, most of the properties available are usually resale homes and generally range from the high $300s to the $600s depending on size, features and location. While the canal section is largely developed some choice home sites are still available for those who desire to build their special waterfront dream home.
